During January 2023 MGB Catering has attended the factory tour of Unox Equipment and have gained vast knowledge of their large portfolio and innovative new products that Unox offer. We would be pleased to discuss the Unox product range and how the units can assist your business.

During August 2022 MGB catering have been honoured to support the Leeds Building Society on the emergency accommodation for Ukrainian refugees project by suppling a large quantity of catering equipment free of charge as a donation.

The last few years has been extremely busy with many businesses and industry manufacturing projects completed successfully and on time.

Works with Contract Catering companies have increased including Dine Contract Catering and Compass. Here are just a few of our works: UK Bakeway Northampton, full new facility. Hale Hamilton complete kitchen and furniture including builders works. Smyths Toys main UK distribution centre, kitchen servery refurbished and restarted after a 3year hold on catering. B @ M stores main distribution, full new facility opened as previously they had no cafe or welfare facility. Encirc glass Elton, after completing a full servery counter in Northern Ireland for the company, we were asked to install a new 10 metre counter in Cheshire which greatly assisted the service. Leeds Building Society, head quarters and APAM in the city centre works. We also commenced works with The Caledonian Sleeper Serco company at the headquarters in Inverness and have been given projects for them at Euston Station HS2 for 2023.

Public House restaurants, delis, take aways local to our unit and nationally have been supported by ourselves with very competitive prices including full manufacturers warranty as they have been realising that many online offers have little or no warranty included and online confidence in purchasing seems to be slipping away passing sales onto trusted distributors like ourselve

This month we have completed a exciting project at MXL Euston square hotel NW1 with a regular client of ourselves and our supplier relationship to the Channel Islands in Sark has been continuing all year

It has been great to see businesses bouncing back through covid but we appreciate it is tough for all hospitality so we will continue to support the industry with our best prices and service into 2023.

2020 ended with some exciting projects planned both locally and nationally, we have updated our Covid 19 procedures and Health Safety policies and are in a strong position to cope with the ongoing pandemic.

Starting into 2021 January has found our team busy on a tight timescale to design and build new catering facilities at B@M main distribution in Bedford after being awarded the contract.

Closer to home a new full installation in Coalville is in full progress and we are supporting our local clients by offering very competitive prices for equipment, its a very testing time for all and please contact us if you require anything.

The 2019 / end to the year was especially busy for MGB Catering with full design concepts around the country such as Speedyhire head offices and large scale refurbishments in JD Sports main warehouse in Rochdale, we have been working along side our design and build associates Concorde BGW who are award winning design and build contractors and this has produced a exciting combination of front of house and kitchen catering concepts.

In Northern Ireland we successfully planned, delivered and installed a full new servery counter system at Encirc glass in Derrlyn and just when we were in full movement on large projects we as the whole country ground to a halt with the COVID-19 outbreak, we pulled our barriers in to protect our company and clients and put many jobs on hold, but recently we have been able to complete many of these postponed jobs successfully with full appropriate new risk assessments and method statements including staff and contractor training and awareness, all in conjunction with CHAS and our health and safety partners DH training advice.
To keep up with market demand we have been supplying many acrylic safety screens for social distancing and various PPE to the industrial and health market and are looking forward to embracing the challenges that this virus has presented the industry with recently.

June 2019 and the year has flown by as we have been so busy, lots of CAD plans on refurbishing industrial canteens into trendy dining areas such as Clipper logistics, St Gobain, British Gypsum, Allied Bakeries, to name a few.

Garden centre cafés are blooming as well, full installations at The Plant Plot Lichfield, Smiths Nurseries Coventry, and refurbishments at various locations.

A large project at the Gunwharfe Quay at Portsmouth has given the Parade tearooms Southsea, a second outlet that is doing well.

With Brexit looming we have found some large projects on hold for now, but a tough year is producing some very good orders and we are enjoying watching our existing restaurant, delis, cafes, and hotels grow in business with our supplier partnership.
